These images by Amsterdam-based artist Sit Haiiro have me in a trance. Stunning work. Couldn’t find much personal information on him besides:

After working as a digital creative for commercial companies, Sit decided to stop this madness in 2008 and went back to head and handcraft to slice away the fat. The following works were collected from his on going project called Haiiro. For further understanding of these illustrations, check out his description:

“Where the calm surroundings provide more opportunity for decision making, rather than being driven by the fast moving winds of change.”

Q&A with KidBeat

What motivates you?

What motivates me to play music is the power of creativity. It lies within us all and if you can catch it you will enjoy the feeling of giving life to something that belongs to you but that you put at the disposal of all.

What most inspiring thing a listener of your music told you?

Once a guy wrote me via soundcloud that my music is inspiration for him and his friends. Often they use to say: “hey let’s put on some kidbeat’s sounds!” I think this is crazy.

What’s next for yourself?

I really don ‘t know. listening and making tons of sounds and trying to keep it on.

Anything else you’d like to say?

Thanks for this nice interview and for featuring me. And thanks to all people who listen to my music showing love with nice messages and kind words it means a lot.
